Design Tips

The most important aspect of pin and patch manufacturing is the design process. All beautiful pins and patches begin from a beautiful design!

The Lannoye Emblems graphics department will help to create a beautiful design from your ideas (at no extra charge). Your pin or patch can be made into any shape desired, with the price determined by the size, quality, quantity and options ordered. 

The Basics

This is a loop cutout
A metal border must surround the entire border
Large letters may be colored, only if there is room around each letter for the base metal.
Metal lines act as retaining walls. Separating one color from another. Choice of Gold, Silver, Bronze or Black colored lines.
Small letters and minute details CAN NOT be colored filled. They must show as metal letters.

Size

  • Pins can be any shape
  • Size is determined by the longest measurement. Length or Width -- not DIAGONAL!! This saves you money!

This example is a 1 1/4''  pin.
